hey all, i had a couple questions. first thing is i have a dei hornet 553t installed on my durango. its been on it for like 5 yrs or so now. when i remote start it(which works great), i cant unlock the doors with the remote. the only way is to unlock it with the key and as soon as i crack open door, the alarm blares and i have a heck of a time getting it to stop. anyways, anyone have any ideas? i have replaced the battery in the remote so that cant be it. i also have replaced the antenna twice. the other thing, i have a brand new dei hornet 563t sitting in my closet and was wondering if anyone new if it would be a direct plug and play so to speak instead of the 553t? i just didnt want to have to run all those wires. i figured if it was the main brain giving me fits, id just swap them out since theyre all but the same from what i can tell. can anyone confirm this?
