Hello guys, needing advice on passlock 2. I've put RS units in vehicles atleast 10 times. Never had to use a bypass module due to the cars were always pre anti-theft era. My issue is how and where to read the resistor value on my truck? And does a 791 bypass unit from bulldog security all I need?

In the downloads section, search Passlock and you will see the diagram to test for resistance. The passlock wires are right under the ignition cylinder. I just did a 2006 Equinox and should be similar setup. There are several bypass units, I used the DEI PLJX and it worked great for the bypass function. There are also modules that will control more than just the bypass (locks, parking lights, alarm disarm) too.
