This 8-ton truck has a different wiring configuration from regular F series trucks. The truck has two connectors in the dash for the stereo but the wire colors don’t correspond with any diagrams I can find online. Here are the wire colors:
1st connector
RED / yellow stripe
Blue / YELLOW stripe
Black
2nd connector
Green
Blue
Yellow/black stripe
Blue/red stripe
BLACK / YELLOW stripe
Brown (connected to ground)
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Thanks so much for pointing me to that guide how to identify stereo wiring. I had been searching this site and all over the web for a similar guide but couldn’t find it. I’d like to suggest that you include a pointer to this guide on the page Vehicle Specific Mobile Electronics Wiring
Being a complete newB, I’m a little confused by the instruction:
“To determine the correct polarity of a speaker, ... pay close attention to the direction of cone travel. If it moves outward, you have the correct polarity for that speaker.”
Does that mean the cone is traveling outward away from the magnet, or outward away from the human? (I assume the former.)
Thanks again for your help.

Outward = away from the magnet.
The F-700 is a rare beast. Had you asked about an F-150, I would have referred you to the database. I did not even look in there for the 700 because I did not think it would be there.
