Hi, I'm trying to add an RFID system to unlock the car doors. I tough the button acted like a simple switch, sending 12V to a relay that activated on side or the other of the actuator. So 3 cable at the switch, lock, unlock and 12+.
Now i've opened my car there's only 2 wire. How does this really works and how in your opinion should I do that (the RFID card as an relay that latch for 5 second when the card is presented)

Single white wire, DKP, simply ground to lock BUT 1.5Kohms to unlock.
It's known a 1 wire multiplex.
If you have a 1 wire low current output from your RFID unit you will need a relay to boost the current. For layout, go to the relay section, door locks, Ford Probe in special applications, right hand side (unlock) relay and follow the diagram, though the diagram shows 4.7kohm you will need a 1.5kohm.
If on the other hand you have a 3 wire unlock output, common, NC and NO, it will have an internal relay common to ground, NO out to the vehicle white via the resistor and NC not used.

Well, if the door is locked and close, and I try to unlock it using the card and the open the door, the alarms starts. Any idea why? It doesn't botter me much as its only purpose is to open the door when keys are inside (and I can turn the alarm off with them), but still I'd like that the alarm doesn't go on.
