Installing hidden GPS units and looking for under dash on drivers side wiring diagram. These units operate with 3 wires... Constant 12V, Ground, and Ignition sense.

Constant can be found in many places on the back of the fusebox. Ignition is Pink coming from the ignition switch. There are several pinks in that harness.
This info is for the 1500 Silverado. I put the same unit in several of them today. I will check to make sure the tahoe is the same.

     Battery RED / BLACK (+) VEHICLE INTERIOR FUSE BOX
     Ignition 1 PINK (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
The battery wire mentioned above is very large in size. There are many smaller easier to use wires on the back of the fusebox.
If the fusebox were circular, at 11:00 and 2:00 there is a metal tab, just below this tab is a plastic lock. Stick a screwdriver between the 2 and spread them while pulling the fusebox toward the drivers door.
