I am looking for power that turns on with the van when it turns on.Then off when the van turns off. I want to use this for hard wiring a radar. The local shop here will not tell me as they want to charge me 30 bucks to hook it up. Does anyone know what color wire would do this. Thanks for your help.

Can't remember the color but...
Pull open the lower center console panel where the two lighter outlets are. One of the outlets is hot all the time and the other is switched. Use a meter on the switched outlets' two wires to determine which is +12V ( should be the center lead ).
Think these outlets are fused at 10 Amps so your will be OK adding a radar detector.
Soldering is fun!

This van has the super console which does not look fun to take apart. A color for the wire and I would be done in 2 beers.lol

On the regular Dodge Grand Caravan, there are 4 fasteners ( 2 on each side ), then you have to wrestle it back and off. You might get lucky by trying to get in on just the passenger side.
I'm sure there are other locations, but that is where I usually go. Too lazy to pull the radio out and the fuse box is under the hood.   And for wire color, I only trust my Digital Multi Meter.   2012 town and country wiring -- posted image.
