Wiring up a trunk pop on an alarm. I understand that you have to wire up the trunk pop like a 5 wire door lock/unlock system. Diagram I had says the blue w/red wire at the alarm brain under the pass side seat needs to be cut in half and then wired up 5 wire. Did this.  Didn't work.  Any ideas on another location for a wire to grab or different way to make this work?

Thank you

G. Smith

Might need to know what remote/alarm system you are working with and what wires you have going from what to what. I assume there is a relay in this somewhere.
