Okay, Finally got the stereo in the Toyota truck and amp. But now I'm getting a lot of line noise. What's the deal?

When you say noise can you be more specific!

Yeah, it's a hum that goes up in pitch when I accellerate...

the same thing happened to me but even after i moved the power cable it still made the whinning noise. how can i get rid of it?

Reddleman : you did ground the radio and amp to the same point right?

Ivanp2: if you have to cross any wires, do so at 90 degree angles to minimize noise. You can also try getting a better quality shielded RCA cable too - popping for the higher grade signal wires can often resolve simpler noise issues.
