NOTE #1: VW'S TRANSPONDER ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM, Requires Bypass Module, Part # 791 Bypass Module, for REMOTE STARTING ONLY! Part # DLPK-CANBUS MULTI for REMOTE STARTING and DOOR LOCKS (Resistors for DOOR LOCKS, NOT REQUIRED)
NOTE #2: the VESCM, (Vehicle Electrical System Control Module) is the RELAY BOX, Under the DRIVERS DASH.
NOTE #3: this vehicle uses a 1-WIRE DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM, that Requires Extra Parts for operation. See DIAGRAM. The use of Bypass Module DLPK-CANBUS MULTI will do the ANTI-THEFT and DOOR LOCKS without the use of relays and resistors.
NOTE #4: the DDCM, (Drivers Door Control Module) is located in the DRIVERS DOOR.
NOTE #5: the CSCCM, ( Comfort System Central Control Module) is located behind the GLOVE BOX.
NOTE #6: for the PARKING LIGHT FLASH option, it will be necessary to break the HEADLIGHT Switch OFF wire, BLACK/YELLOW (+), located at the VESCM, (16-PIN PLUG(E), PIN 16.
NOTE #7: to DISARM FACTORY ALARM (if needed) Requires a (-) thru a 250 Ohm Resistor on the GREEN/WHITE (-) wire, requires resistor and relay. TEST this wire while turning the KEY in the DRIVERS DOOR.
NOTE #8: TEST this wire while Opening the TRUNK with the Handle on the REAR of the Vehicle
NOTE #9: when using the TACH wire, use a BROWN/BLACK, BROWN/WHITE, BROWN/PURPLE or ROWN/GRAY, they all test (AC)
