trying to fix headlights,,smh,,,, both are not working and after going threw all the abc,s i found the issue to be that the line that feeds the headlights is grounded. I need a copy of 2004 Ford Expedition Lincoln Navigator Wiring Diagram Manual to trace the wires to find the short

You may be reading a ground through the bulbs. If you unplug the headlights, does the ground go away?

I'm not sure if this is the correct diagram, but it came up in a search and is listed for 2003:
