I am trying to tap the wiring on the rearview mirror to supply power to my radar detector.  The wire I chose works ok, but removes the 12v when the car is put into reverse.  Does anyone know if one of the wires has a constant 12v any time the ignition is on?

I found GM uses the Gentex mirror with OnStar included.  The connector has two rows of 7 pins each, but not all pins are used.  The posts I have found here have fewer pins.  Does anyone have the pinout for the OnStar version?
