Hi!

I am trying to locate the neutral switch signal on a 2003 Eclipse V6 with a Manual Transmission!

I am quite certain there is one, it is the only way to pervent the cruise from activating when switching it ON!

Any help is welcome!

Manual Transmission's don't have a neutral safety switch. They have a clutch and brake switch to tell whether you have pushed either to turn off the cruise control. On newer cars the computer determines with switches or calculations what car the gear is in but still there is no neutral safety switch.

The Altima 2002 with manual transmission as a Neutral Switch, it is used to prevent the the motor from goin wild in case you would place the transmission in neutral without touching the clutch of brake pedal!

So in this case, I used this signal for the remote starter safety!
