Keyless entry 2002 PT Cruiser

I have a 2002 PT Cruiser, has keyless entry - no factory alarm.  I have added a Prostart CT-3300 remote starter with keyless support (lock / unlock).  The suggested resistor values for the lock and unlock pulses do not work properly.  The doors lock with a single neg pulse through a 250 ohm resistor, but when the double neg pulse through the 1000 ohm resistor is sent to unlock, the actuators chatter - seems that they are trying to pull into the lock position again with each pulse.

The lock pulse is 7/10 second, the unlock is a double 1/4 second pulse.

I've seen reference to using 2.7 - 3k ohm resistors to lock and 7.2 - 7.5k ohm resistors to unlock but these values seem to refer to vehicles with oem alarms.

Any suggestions?

Use 3K (3000) ohms for lock/arm and 7.2K (7200) ohms for unlock/disarm. Unlock requires a double pulse.

The 3k single pulse lock, 7.2k double pulse unlock did not work either.  This time the system would not lock.  With the doors locked pressing either button unlocked the doors, the unlock (using double pulse) chattered the actuators (tried to unlock the second time)

Used 250 ohm single pulse to lock and 7.2k ohm single pulse to unlock and it works great.

Based up on the fact that you have the right resistance, on alot of dodge vehicles with a one wire system you need to relay the signal so you give it a stronger pulse, One quick way to try your resistance is using a fused jumper to ground, attach your resistors to the jumper and tap against the WHITE/ green wire.  If you get it to unlock or lock based upon the values, you got the right ones thus having said you must relay the signal, especially with Prostart and Autostart models, the output signal isn't strong enough in most cases, try it out and let me know.
