I need the info where to find the door trigger in VW Golf 1999.

the dome light wire is what your looking for, it's a blue wire with a gray stripe in the driver kick panel. It is a negative trigger

The kick panel is the trim piece below the dash board and meets the carpet, just in front of the door.
