I just received a 04 Suburban for our fleet, on the passenger side by the glovebox I have a group of wires ( 2ea. Black, Pink, Orange) also taped to this is a 40amp fuse. Can someone enllighten me on what these are for?

My guess is 12v+, 12v- and Ing? but I am confused I do not think they can handle 40amps?

Thanks

Steve

That sounds like it may be for  your trailer hookup. Is the 40Am fuse a big blade fuse. If it is plug it in the fuse box under the hood on the driver side. that fuse is for your 12V + trailer plug.

It is not the trailer plug, I have another connector on the drivers side that has to be connected for the trailer plug.

Thanks for the reply
