im pretty new to the whole car audio thing so  i could be wrong but my buddy has a 91 prelude with a jvc cd player and whenever its foggy or it rains the radio likes to get fuzzy and kinda starts to cut out, any ideas on why and how to fix?

Weather is an inherent problem to the antenna on all vehicles regardless of make or model. If yours is a little more touchy to weather than someone else's, you might have to replace your antenna with a new one or check for possible breaks in the antenna wire going from the back to the front by the deck.
