illuminated entry for 2000 Civic

I understand the wiring diagram for turning the interior light on when the door is opened. But what I want to do is wire my underbody neons to come on when the interior light comes on, whether the door is open or not. My keyless entry already turns the interior light on when I unlock it, and turns it off when it's locked; I want my neons to come on at the same time. Make sense?

What I don't want to do is run a wire from the actual light (wires running through your headliner probably doesn't look very pretty). I was hoping there was a contact point or wire I could stick a relay in and the relay would turn on the neons when the interior light kicks on.
