hey  im transfering my system to my new car 2004 ion2 quad coupe.does anyone know what color wire i need to tap in to the factory harness for my remote turn on lead to my amp,im still using the stock cd player.

Just use the switched ignition wire for the remote turn on lead. This does the same thing for the amplifier that the OEM remote turn on lead does.

The color of the IGN wire is dark blue at the BCM (Body Control Module)it is part of the fuse/relay box in the lower center of the dash, just below the HVAC control assembly. It has the following connectors: C1-37 pin black plug, C2-38 pin gray plug, C3-56 pin black plug, C4-56 pin gray plug, and C5-6 pin gray plug.

Just found the amp turn on wire for the Ion is PINK at the radio harness as well.
