Hi all.  I installed a remote starter (Prostart CT5000 - remote starter / keyless entry / alarm) into my 1989 Grand Prix, and whenever I plug the power cable into the starter, the parking lights flash and the alarm goes off.  I've gone through all the wores, and they all seem right.  I've checked with a multi-meter on the ones that weren't obvious.  Has this happened to anyone else?  What could I have done wrong?

Yes I have, but with this model the remotes aren't programmed into the starter module, you have to do it after it's installed.

Then U might want to read the Manual about the Valet Switch..........
Usually you would turn ON ignition Switch and Engage Valet Switch to shut off Alarm
Then follow Insructions on Programming Remotes.......
