im putting a remote starter/keyless entry/alarm system in my car made by commando...i got everything working except everytime i connect the power source, the alarm goes off, and no matter what i do, it doesnt turn off, until i disconnect it from the system...what could possibly be causing this?? please help!

well everytime you connect power it is resetting alarm and yes it will keep doing this have you tried connecting it and then pressing lock or unlock on remote and if so make sure your remote antenna is plugged in some alarms require that or they will not recieve the signal.

i tried pressing lock and unlock, but it  was not stopping it.  The remote is working because the remote start part of the system is working fine.  Is there any other possibilities? thanx alot...

Did you accidentally have the siren wire hooked up wrong ? Check the siren wire and make sure that you have it hooked up properly.

i hooked one wire up to ground, and the other to the console.....this is what the instructions said....is there anything else that could be causing this?  thanx alot for your help...i appreciate it alot...

Just make sure that you have the siren (+) wire hooked up to the siren output wire on the alarm brain. Other possibilities would be that your unit is defective alarm system -- posted image.
