Would anyone be able to give me some insight on how to connect a relay to pop my trunk in a 2004 Camry.  I have located the wire that is triggered by my keyless entry system when the trunk is popped but i want to attach my car starter that connects to the trunk as well.

The wiring diagram says 5wi for power and I am not sure what the wi stands for or how to connect a wire of this variety.

thanks any help is greatly appreciated.

If it is broken Fix it.

86 and 87 get 12 volts fused (10 amps)

85 gets your trigger wire from the remote brain. tap off that with adiode and the cathode end towards the trigger wire to the trunk key sence wire GREEN / WHITE (-)neg

87a gets the trunk side of the trunk pop wire WHITE/ LT. BLUE

30gets the trunk side of the trunk pop wire

YOU don't need to disarm to pop the trunk.....K
