Can someone help me locate the dome light wire??  I need to isolate the dome light from the door pin switch (which is the RED / black wire in pin3 of 22 pin plug on left side of JB/Fusebox).

If I pull the dome light fuse, the door trigger still functions fine (which is what I'm trying to accomplish using a relay), so there must be a wire I can isolate.  I just can't find it!  Please help.

THANKS!

Hi MKP, you should be able to find it in the driver's side pillar or in a two or three wire harness that plugs into the fuse panel.

After a little investigation, this is what I've concluded.

The dome light wires travel down the back seat pillar on the passenger side (easily assessable through side/wing cushion in rear seat).  The GREEN/ red wire is used for controling the dome when the door is open.  The WHITE/ black wire is for constant ground.  The red wire is constant hot.

Hope this info is helpful to others.
