I have a 93 ford t bird and the trunk release button in the glove compartment doesnt work could it be a fuse

Easiest way to find out is pop the switch out. Meter the switch. If you don't get a +12V then look for the shorted fuse. If you do have the +12V then you may have a faulty switch. Hope that helps.
