I am in the process of installing a Audiovox Prestige APS750a Alarm/Remote start. Everything is hooked up, except the problem is the key in ignition part of the wiring, I know it is the RED / Black wire in the switch harness, but what does it get hooked to on the remote start module so that it will work. If the key is in the ignition the unit works great. So I need to know what to hook the wire to on the Prestige unit, so it thinks the key is in the ignition. Thanks in advance. Scott

The 2000 Ford Focus has a PATS anti - theft System on it that needs to be bypassed when doing a remote car starter. DEI makes a bypass module that should work the part Number is 555U. Any other questions i'll do my best to help.
