i am installing a pioneer D-1 navigation unit in a 2001 Lincoln Navigator

It had factory Alpine, Factory navigation was not installed.

I think i found the Vehicle speed sensor  Pin 9 (circuit 679) grey/black in factory radio harness (might prewired for factory navigation)

I need to find the reverse gear wire close to the pioneer unit so i don't have to ripe the truck apart LOL

also the D-1 unit has to be hooked up to the parking brake. can you just hook up to toogle switch that makes contach to ground when turned on?

Does anyone know of any good wire diagram install software i can buy?

Connecting the E-brake wire to a toggle switch wont work on the D1 for video. You should connect properly for correct opperation. There is a video bypass just search around. I think the reverse wire is BLACK/ pink in harness to rear on driver side fender under hood. Check color by removing tail light and test.

Brake Wire green   +  at brake switch

Speed Sense gray/black    cruise control module
Notes: The cruise control module is on the driver side fender.
