I was wondering if ther was a wireing diagram for the 89 Buick Regal Ltd 2.8l V6 to install a car starter. I can get it to turn over but it is like it is getting no gas because it will only start if the key is turned to on just before starting and hit the button and it will start. If the key is not turned on, it just turnes over and doesnotstart. Everything else, works fine, doors, lights, and trunk.

sounds like your not powering the ignition up. ignition #1 is the pink wire in the ignition harness coming out of the column ign.#2 is dark green in the same harness these wires will be inbetween 10-12 gauge in size. lol

JUST ONE MORE AMP!!!

hu,alpine cva 1005/dva 5205

sub amp,power 1000 the terminator.(1992).

subs,spl comp dual 1 ohms.

punch 150hd on a 10" ev.

Thanks for the all the help and the quick response. You saved me from retracing my wires over again today. I am going out now to correct my f@%# up. Its the first car starter that I have done but more to follow now that they are not all that bad like I heard they were. This is quite the site that the crew has going here. I am glad to have stumbled across it and I would like to thank all the people envloved in keeping it up and running. You have a knew member 4 LIFE!!!! All the Props
