94 Chevy Caprice

Hi. I'm getting ready to do a remote start install on my 1994 Chevrolet Caprice and I was wondering if that year had any of the security key features, just making sure I dont have to buy a passlock module from DEI. Thanks.

Notes:

*1 Also found to be purple low in the drivers kick panel.  *2 Only available on some models.   *3 Remove the air cleaner assembly to access the connector. The connector is located a few inches from the center of the motor towards the passenger side. The motor will not start with the air cleaner assembly removed.
