I just got a 2004 honda accord, same shape as the American acura tsx. I also got a Clifford intelliguard 8000 alarm G4 to install in it. Problem is that the wiring for the door locks are different from the other older models i've done before. They are not negative trigger. I need a wiring diagram for the door locks. Can anyone help please.

All Honda/Acura's that I have ever worked on have been a (-) trigger door lock system. To ensure that the system you have is in fact a (-) trigger, you will need to access the lock switch harness and test the wire that is in the middle of the 3 pin harness. This is the polarity wire and will most likely be a ground. The 2004 TSX has a (-) trigger system.

i know i thought that it would be the same, however this particular one is a reverse polarity, and i have tried everything that i know. To clear things up, its a japanese version of the accord, it looks just like the tsx however, it is wired differently from the regular accord.
Thanks for your speedy response but if anyone has a schematic for the door lock that would be nice. please.
