My Ford five hundred has auto up/down for the drivers window. I am trying to install up/down module so when my alarm is activated the windows rollup and and the down function to an aux button. All windows work fine except for the driver window. It will only move about two inches and stop. Is there some way to make this work?

I dont have direct connection to the window motor becase of an module that plugs right in to the motor. My guess is this module controls the auto up/down functions.

Are you using the 2 heavy gauge wires going to the motor from the switch?

In that case you'll find the switch connects to a control module then to the window motor you'll have to make connection at the motor itself.
