Hi,

First of all, sorry for my english, i'm from germany.

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT and i want to install a Becker Traffic Pro Navi System which is only available in Germany i think. Now i need the right color code and location of the vss and reverse wire. I dont want install a new wire from the taillight to the radio harness. And what kind of vss-signal do i need for this radio or is a adaptor needed to work properly? I'm afraid of trying out the right connection by a Multimeter in fact of the possibility of PCM damage.

Thanx for help

S.Wolf

not sure that the truck is the same as the one in the US but this is what i got . if you use a DMM to probe the wires it will not hurt anything just no test lights.

Speed Sense WHITE/ orange    conn. 2, pin 27 @ PCM

Notes: The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on the passenger side firewall.

Reverse Light PURPLE / black  +  automatic day/night mirror
bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english
