parking light wire, 2005 Mazda Tribute

Hello,

I have been told by Crutchfield techs that the parking light +12V wire is listed in the 2004 wiring diagram as a solid "brown" wire. I found a few brown striped wires, though not a solid brown wire anywhere.

Would it be possible to tap this wire at the tail light, where it is receiving +12V when the parking light is switched on? I am not sure if that would make all 4 lights (parking and tail) flash as the same time, as intended......

I tried that wire first and it didn't work. It is a red and yellow wire on the light switch.

Crutchfield said that it didn't work because that is a (-) 12V for the parking lights, and the wire I need to located is the (+) wire for the parking lights. Now they are saying that a brown wire at the SJB, or amart junction box will work.  That fuse box \ junction box is a pain to get to since it is deep inside the center console

That was after the fact I had the alarm working , other than the parking lights were not flashing as expected.

is there a WHITE/ black wire at the headlight switch? this is (-) for parking lights

the brown wire is (+) at the kick panel

can't you just use a relay to invert polarity if your alarm system only has a (+) parking light output? I know DEI alarms have jumpers on the side of the module to change the polarity of the parking light output.

I would like to use this wire , but I do not see in the kick panel area.

There is only a large Brown \ Yellow striped wire on a harness in that general area?

Have you ever seen this wire there first hand?

I was hoping to get a better description than the drivers kick panel, I open the kick panel door, and there is nothing in there, there are wire modules and looms above the area and to the left though.

As above, posted, I might be able to use a SPST automotive relay to invert the polarity to (-)12V and use the B/W Wire at the switch, but they didn't  seem to want to provide assistance in that direction. There was some hesitation to not complicate things further using a relay that they did not supply with the unit.
