I'm trying to install an after-market fm modulated cd changer in my 1999 Oldsmobile Alero, but I don't know how to remove the factory radio to access the rear of the radio.  Any knowledge on this task will be truly appreciated.  Thanks.

There are spring steel clips that hold the front radio bezel to the dash. You can pull the bezel off with your fingers without any problems. There are 10 mm bolts that hold the radio in place two on the bottom and two on the top. I think ( can't remeber 100 % ) but you may have to take the ignition column out to get the radio out as well because one of the bolts holds both the ignition column and the radio together on the top left hand side of the radio. Once all of the bolts are out you can pull out the radio but you will have to manuever it up and down to get it around the shifter .
