Need to put remote start in a 2001 Ford Explorer SportTrac if anyone has a wiring diagram I would appreciate it.

This is a multi-coil engine. On the 4L the wire is TAN/WHITE and on the 5L it is RED / BLUE. Set your remote starter for 2 cylinders.

LOCK

Pink / YELLOW

In driver's kickpanel

The locks stop working 20 seconds after the doors are locked. To unlock the doors, you must pulse the disarm wire (GREEN/ VIOLET) at the same time as unlock. For models equipped with no keyless entry or security, the doorlock are reverse polarity.

UNLOCK
