Installed a AVIC-N3 into a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I want to connect the VSS wire. I found a Wire Diagram that stated their should be a WHITE/ orange wire in the instrument cluster at pin 4, but no such wire exists.  I would like to find a location I can tap off of inside the vehicle so I do not have to go through the Firewall. I do have Cruise Control built into my steering wheel, not sure I can use the wire from there. Thanks for any Information in advanced.

Dark Green / yellow at the PCM, under the hood. pin 27. Nothing inside the car specially behind the cluster , since the signal goes  to  the cluster trought data bus

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

Thanks a lot. Got it hooked up today. Works great. Going through the firewall wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
