I know how to do remote starts pretty fluently on older cars. I have been out of the game for about 3 years and I hardly ever touch a car over 2002 for a remote start....

I was curious if you guys know of any things in this car that are gonna trip me up? Any thing that you can help me out with so that way I dont go in there blind. Every car has something that takes a minute to figure out and I just want an IDEA before going in so I can try to get this one done as quickly as possible....

I have a 99 lincoln navigator lined up the next day and I already know that truck like the back of my hand.... I owned a 99 explorer and they are identical....

If you cant here it a block away then I didnt do it....

Ohh yeah and also I know about the need for a 555lw....

any tips would be appreciated

If you cant here it a block away then I didnt do it....

Grab all the ignition wires in the loom of wire just above the foot rest going into the engine bay. You will find the parking light (+) wire as well as the brake wire in the same loom. The only wire you will not find in there is the 2nd IGN wire that you will need to move the radio in order to access the GREEN 2nd ignition wire. This is a very easy car to install a RS into.
