I can't get my ClarionVRX745VD LCD to slide out.

Does anybody own a similar unit?

I have done all the wiring correctly.

It plays the DVD and I am able to listen to it but the screen won't slide out even when I hit the open button.

Anybody please help

Did you use screws through the side of the unit to mount it?   If so, how long of a screw did you use?

I did not use any screws yet because I am still trying to figure why he LCD won't slide out.....the fuses are brand new so thee is no blown ones.
The DVD plays so it can't be the ribbon cable....my only guess is grounding the unit to a seperate location......
