Hey all, I am in a stump and was wondering if anyone has ever come across this before. I am working on a 2007 santa fe with factory rear seat entertainment. This basically consists of the overhead monitor and center console dvd player. I am replacing the stock deck with an Eclipse nav system and trying to make the RSE work with the Eclipse. The RSE is independent of the Nav unit and will operate on its own via the controls on the rear console. My goal is to make the audio from the RSE come thru the Eclipse's aux input. Does anyone know where to grab the audio from the RSE? btw, the overhead has built-in IR for headphones which work. Any help would be great . Thanks

Well, after fiddling with this thing for a few days now i finally figured it out. The audio signals from the RSE can be found at the main radio plug. There  are  3 wires on the plug with the rear speaker wires. The colors are consistent on 2 of these vehicles so far. They are black (shield), brown (right), and white (left). Just splice a pair of RCAs to these and plug to your aux port. The only preliminary thing I've found is that you need to have the stock deck turned on and set the volume level up  to  the RSE BEFORE you remove the stock deck otherwise you will not get any signals at the plug. Don't no why, just is. Also, you will lose the volume control on the rear console. But you can't always get everything you want right?
