which dvd player for a pioneer avic d1

I have had a Pioneer AVIC-D1 for a while now and I finally want to add a DVD player. I have been trying to figure out which one to get, but I cannot tell with most of them that I see for sale what the connections are like and if they will be compatible with the D1. Can anyone recommend a DVD player for my D1 that is cheap but sure to work and be compatible? I don't need or want anything great, I just want it to work and to play movies. I don't need any bells and whistles. Thanks a lot.

That means like a $650 unit. I asked the same question of Pioneer and they said: "Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc. The only DVD player in the Pioneer line will connect to your navigation is the XDV-P6. I was hoping for something in the $100-$200 range. Over that, and I start to not care or want it enough.

I want the HU to control the DVD player as well, though. Plus the AVIC-D1 does not have a composite input. See diagram of the rear connections attached (I hope).

The a/v in out plug on the top right of your diagram is where the composit in goes.  Only the pioneer unit will let the D1 controll it. 

I knew it had the capability of the Composite video.  I learned today that there may be a wire you have to insert into the power plug.  Paid can you confirm this.  I know you have to move the mute wire on the D3 but I am having trouble finding out what wire needs to be added to the power harness on the D1.  Could it be the GREEN/ Parking Brake wire??Let's Go Brandon Brown.
