pioneer avx7300 screen no audio on disc.

HI, I  have a Pioneer avx7300dvd screen with a Pioneer AVM-P9000R master system. I have fitted it into my car and the screen is fine all powers up and plays on radio no problem. If i put a DVD or A CD in the disc shows as playing and video is shown on the screen but i do not have any audio from the system. Can anyone help and point me in the right direction to overcome this? I am sure i had the same problem when it was fitted years ago and i cannot remember how i got around it. Both of these units are UK spec units if tht makes any difference. Thanks.

Your deck has a Blue wire and a Blue wire with a white stripe.  You used the blue one,  You should have connected the Blue/White.

So i assume the 9000 needs a remote trigger wire fed from the screen? Blue being aerial and blue/white being trigger?

Just checked the loom at the back of the head unit, there are no trigger wires on it. The head unit is linked by Pioneers IP bus cable and a large red plug at head unit which is green at the master system. There is a trigger wire at the master system which is live when the unit is turned on. The only wires at the head unit are 12v perm live, ground, illum and green which i assume is parking brake. Anyone else got any ideas what may be wrong here.

What kind of vehicle? Are there amplifiers in the system? If so, factory or aftermarket?

The car is a 2000 Seat Toledo, it is running passive using the amp in the 9000 master system. I have the radio audio no problem it seems to be only the disc although playing and registering on the EQ the re is no audio from the master system. I am wondering if possibly the phono out put from the head has to be connected as it is the audi i dont have, the tuner is built into the master system which may explain it possibly?
