Most Nissan DVD players output an RGB signal meaning you will need a converter. In most cases it is easier to just buy an aftermarket DVD player.
Take a look at the Factory Service Manual for your year and make - Nissan does a great job of publishing schematics.

The thing is that the vehicle was just bought by a friend of mine as a used vehicle and It so happens that the factory DVD player isn't working and I removed it an have an aftermarket one to put in but the vehicle didn't come with any booklets so I have no idea of the wiring or rather the wire colors and their function

As with most OEM systems it is overly complicated for what it is for!
