What are you using for a DVD player?

thats what im asking. Idk how it is done. Using some sort of dvd player wired in or hooking a head unit to the monitor and running it that way. Is a computer moitor or a tv used and how is the tv wired in?

Most new flat screen TV's give multiple inputs including a monitor input, plus they are cheaper.

Ok thanks. So do you wire your DVD compatible head unit to the tv? And to get power to the tv is a converter just wired in?

it would be easier to buy a raw panel monitor that is meant for 12v applications instead of using a tv that will need an inverter.
after that you will need some sort of trim ring that you will use to mold into the fiberglass dash and this will create the opening for the monitor and mount the monitor from behind. if you use an actual tv then you need to take it apart and use the front of the case as the trim ring that you mold into the dash.
