Is it possible to shorten (cut) and splice the feed wire to the camera on the back of my truck? I actually need to cut to pass wire through small hole but will shorten it at the same time.
Thanks

Should not be a problem. Video, Shield/Drain, and Power are usually all separate....they can be shortened or extended.

Thank you for that, I sort of thought so but wanted to be sure.

It's a 1952 Chevy pickup... Have a look at my electrical panel... Remember, this truck only had 5 fuses when new...Rear View Camera, Shorten Feed Wire? -- posted image.
