Hi guys, currently I have alpine cva-1005 and dva-5205 on my car alone with the system and two headrest monitors, I don't really like my dva-5205 mainly becuz it doesn't play CD-R or CD-RW and any other burned VCD, so right now I'm looking for some other DVD players out there that would play everything, (maybe except the DVD-R and DVD-RW cuz I don't see those formats that often anyways) to replace my dva-5205 and I will get a monitor instead of my indash one and I can buy a better deck to get the full potetial out of my system. I saw lots DVD players on ebay for really cheap I'm just wondering are those any good? I don't really care if it's one din or not cuz my double din space is going to be filled with monitor and the DVD player must to go either in the glove compartment or somewhere else.

Any recommdation would be greatly appreciated.

Movie Vision has some compact, and thought out products---they're relativley inexpensive, too. I've got the DVD in my glove box, and it plays all formats save DVD-RW. Check into Icon TV, they have a real wide range of options on there products, but they are pricey. However, you usually get what you pay for!

I bought a soundstorm dvd player off ebay. I'm really pleased with it. Plays cd cd-r, mp-3, dvd+r, and dvd+rw. Wont play dvd-r or dvd-rw though. Picture is great and works perfect.

It also plays vcd.

cleareb600 alot of the dvd players online are good and the play cd-r but if you have a hard hitting system it will skip the dvd player like you have never seen. Also you want ot sell the dva 5205
