Does anyone know of  any replacement visor tft lcd that can display PAL and NTSC video? I just found out that mine can't display PAL video properly even if my dvd player is multi-system. The image becomes black and white and there is a white band on top. Anyone else have this problem? Any workarounds besides replacing the lcd? I have quite a few PAL svcd's that I would like to play on my system.

PAL is a 50Hz refresh rate, and NTSC is 60Hz refresh rate. That is the cycles per second (the sreens actually flicker on and off THAT many times a second). You need to find a display that is capable of that. So, you see what happens when playing a PAL on NTSC, they are out of sync. I thought that simply using a power adapter would fix the problem, I know ot does with all A/C devices, I do not know if there is an Adapter to use a PAL screen or a switch on a GOOD screen to change it.

Your best bet would be to get an Optiview (OV731V).

You can go with or without the shroud.  It depends on if your visor has lighted mirrors or not.
