i have a 02 avalanche and am looking for a repop blank piece that replaces the storage pocket/cd storage area in the center console. the piece is bolted in the center and runs from the lighter/acc. plug area down to the drink holder. i have seen this piece in mag. pictures and would like to install a dvd receiver and cd changer there. i really have no desire to cut the factory piece. anyone????

Do you have a link to a picture of one? If it is a factory option type panel you could get one from a dealer.

i'll try to find one and post, but i don't want a oem replacement piece cuz it has holes in it that are already too big. i am hoping to get a hit on a sight that deals in retrofit panels. anyone??
