I bought a new 2004 GMC Canyon it did not come with the auto dim temp/compass mirror. I was able to get one everything works but the temp. it has and "OC" on the display does anyone know what this means? if it is because there is no sensor does anyone know if i can get one and plug it in?

thanks for any help

What plug do you speak of? I have one of these mirrors and the  temp sensor is with the wire harness. It may have a plug that plugs into the wire harness I cant remember for sure but other than that it doesnt plug into the vehicle itself.

From what I remember there is a plug that comes from the harness on one of the wires which then plugs into the sensor. Perhaps your missing the plug so your confused as to where it goes. They separate the wire so you dont have to have a huge hole in the firewall to push the sensor through. If you dont understand maybe you can try to explain exactly what you have.
