Hi, Just seeing what FM mods ppl use in there video systems. we currently use magnadyne and they blow nut sack, we extend the antenna and everything and still 1 out of like 10 customers still complain about static and noise. Is there a good quality FM modulator or what? We've tried farenheit ones that look like a hockey puck and they suck too.  Just seeing if we could change something to make customers happier.

let me know.

         Eric.

Stop using them altogether and sell auxillary input adapters? One thing that I have noticed is that you cannot touch the chassis of the fm mod to any kind of ground. Try that on your next one.

In my experience the addon wireless fm mods don't work well at all. When we do tv's like the magnadyne they seem to work surpisingly well actually. Better than some low quality wired fm mods in my opinion. The trick with the magnadynes is to change the fm mod station accordingly. If you get noise or static, change the station and try it. Good luck,
Mike

The only cordless fm modulators I have had success with are the models for the IPODS.  I've played my Ipod in the bay and received the signal in a car that was outside of the bay.  They are outstanding.
