has anyone successfully reclocated an onstar module? my question is if you extend the coaxial cables for the gps antenna that goes to the back of the onstar module will there be any problems? any feed back from someone who has successfully done this will be appreciated!!!
if you ask why im attempting this, i have an anal customer with an h2 who wants the dvd player mounted where the onstar is right now

You can't modify the GPS antenna in any way. There is enough cable to relocate the Onstar module to the passenger side dash above and forward of its current location. You will have to extend the wires for the button pad and relocate the buttons to somewhere else. There is surprisingly lots of room inside the passenger's side dash. Don't try to modify either of the antenna cables though. It's not required.
