Does anyone know the location of the reverse wire and the vss wire to tap in to for the avic n1 on a 2000 nissa frontier?  I believe the vss lead is GREEN/ black and can be found behind the brake pedal.  Not sure about the reverse lead.  Also, I believe the parking brake wire can just be grounded in order to watch dvds without the parking brake on.  Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

the reverse lead in your truck can be run straight to your reverse light bulb in your taillights. the vss is GREEN/ black, and as far as the parking brake, that is the way to bypass it, but do it at your own risk, it is against the law to watch movies while driving

Thanks for the info.  I do not plan on watching movies while driving, just do not want to have to put on the parking brake if I do plan on watching one.  Are you aware if this is the location of the vss, behind the brake pedal?

yea, it  is above the brake pedal, i believe in a white 8 pin plug, it can also be found in a loomed harness on the drivers side of the engine
