We have been installing several Mobile video systems and using a rf tyoe modulator to integrate with the stock radio/cd. The customers are all complaning of engine noise when the vehicle is running. All the techs I have spoken to say to run a power wire all the way to the battery and ground the DVD unit well. We have tried and still the noise persists. Is there any easy fix for this? I think most of the noise is coming from the alternator. Anybody have any new ideas?

Thanks

Al

Buy a noise filter for power wire: it has 3 wires: 1 connectos to power +12V (normally is red), 2 goes to the load (normally is blue) 3 black goes to ground. It costs no more then 10 bucks ans is very efficient, your noise will go a way.
